Study cooperation: Online master's degree in sustainability management

The part-time online master’s degree in “Sustainability Management” (Master of Business Administration, MBA), which is unique in Germany, lasts 18 months and deals with the challenges of digital change and aspects of sustainability in the context of corporate management as an integral part of the value chain. The aim is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the impact of current global economic, social and environmental pressures on companies, as well as the skills and knowledge to apply sustainable innovation strategies and leadership skills in their teams or organizations. The MBA course is aimed at decision-makers and young professionals within the company, but is also open to external applicants from business and administration with the appropriate admission requirements. Siemens is thus meeting the growing demands of sustainable corporate management, which is characterized by the need to conserve resources and be climate-neutral. The study program is divided into nine modules of 50 hours each, the course language is English.

In the many years of cooperation between Siemens and FAU, the new MBA course is part of a series of dual and part-time courses, including bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration and management training for executives. In addition to the exclusive master's program, four new management training programs were designed together with FAU, which provide participants with a selection of effective tools and methods to successfully master the challenges of tomorrow: AI for Creativity & Innovation, Digital Marketing & Sales, ESG Management and Machine Learning & Data Analytics.
